Members of the Spain-Korea Chamber of Commerce were present at the celebration of the IV Conference of the Vargas Llosa Chair, which was held at Jaral de la Mira, in El Escorial. The event, which has as its motto "A meeting for Culture in Freedom", brings together great figures from the business, political and cultural worlds from both sides of the Atlantic. As its founder, Nobel Prize winner for Literature Mario Vargas Llosa, points out, "the fundamental reason for this Chair is to stimulate cultural exchanges, mainly literary ones, between Spain and the vast area of the Spanish language."
As in previous years, the major Korean car company, KIA, was one of the main sponsors of the event, allowing attendees to appreciate the latest models of the prestigious brand's high-end cars.
