OSONG, South Korea, April 24 (Yonhap) -- The Cosmetics & Beauty Expo plans to make headway in creating a new "hallyu" to introduce the local beauty culture overseas, the event's organizing committee said Wednesday.
The organizer said it will make efforts to increase the global presence of the South Korean beauty industry by extending the length of hallyu, which originally refers to the worldwide boom of Korean pop music and TV dramas.
