SEOUL, July 24 (Yonhap) - The third largest smartphone maker in the world, LG Electronics Inc., will launch its first new smarphone "LG G2" next month in South Korea, before other countries.
"Then we intend to market the model in North America and Europe in September and the rest of the world in October," said CFO LG, Jung Do-hyun, during a briefing in Seoul on the performance of your company in the second quarter.
LG Mobile Optimus Optimus G and G Pro have shown that the competitiveness of products from LG is on par with that of the leading manufacturers, Samsung and Apple, so that next LG G2 is a market leader in terms of design as well as hardware and user experience, said Jung. A global distribution network for the new model will expand significantly, he added.
The new model is known to have off buttons and volume in the rear, 800 Snapdragon processor quad-core processor, 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2.
