Seoul, South Korea, July 24 - The giant South Korean appliances, LG Electronics Inc., has performed in Colombia its 100-inch laser TV called “Hecto”, to be marketed in the coming months at a cost approximately $ 15,000.

The model, a home theater system that includes an immersive display, has an advanced lighting system based on the laser, which offers crisp imaging with a resolution of Full HD (FULL HD) 1080p.
Unlike other similar-inch TVs, the “Hecto” only need 56 inches away from the screen for 100 inch FULL HD image, because of its external projection unit a short distance (UST, according to its acronym in English) .
LG is working to make their products with higher quality and more environmentally friendly. To this end, the “Hecto” has eliminated the need to use mercury laser based on your lighting system, which uses diodes that provide superior image quality, with a lifespan of up to 25,000 hours, or five times longer than regular bulbs of mercury.
