The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid opens to the public on April 27 a temporary exhibition co-organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Spain, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and the Seok Juseon Memorial Museum of Dankook University dedicated to to traditional Korean children's clothing, titled: ¨Filial Love Patches¨ and curated by historian Hwang Jinyoung of the Seok Juseon Memorial Museum of Korea. The exhibition, sponsored by the Traveling Korean Arts project of the Korean Foundation for Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), will remain open to the public until July 25, 2023.
¨Patchworks of Filial Love¨ is a journey through Korean culture through a careful selection of children's clothing, from the Seok Juseon Memorial Museum of Korea, which cover the last period of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897) and the beginning of the century XX.
